Not only that, but Jermaine is also an entrepreneur who, with his partner Greg Bodine, has started a premier indoor golf training facility, called Evergreen Golf Club. What they're doing is unlike anything else we've seen and it was great to talk to Jermain about his career, the lessons he's learned from the NFL, what it's like to transition into owning a business, and so much more…You can check out Jermaine Kearse on instagram at @jkearse15 and learn more about his Golf Training Facility at https://evergreengolfclub.com/—-To Apply For Coaching: Click HereDownload The Tailored Trainer: Tailored Trainer Sign Up PageTo Get Your Questions Answered On The Podcast: Ask Us Here!Purchase Items From Tailored Life Apparel - HEREDownload 1 (or ALL) Of Our FREE GUIDES: https://www.tailoredcoachingmethod.com/guidesGiant Lifting Equipment (10% Off With Code “TCM10”): GiantLifting.com1st Phorm Supps: https://www.1stphorm.com/tailoredcoachingmethodTo Get Cody’s Amazon Recommendations, Click Here—-Timestamps:(2:20) - Who is Jermaine Kearse(5:40) - Transition From College To NFL(9:25) - Process of Free Agency(11:00) - Overcoming Doubt(13:35) - Long term vision after the NFL(17:30) - Pursuing opportunities(19:25) - Handing Pressure In business compared to NFL(21:48) - Learning to control only what you can control(29:45) - Act NOW, Reflect Later(32:00) - Introducing Greg Bodine (Jermaine’s Business Partner)(33:33) - When Jermaine started to play golf(35:20) - Golf is so similar to Life(37:00) - Why a Golf Training Facility?(40:50) - Adjusting to the structure of being an entrepreneur(49:45) - Who you are vs. What you do(51:50) - Handling the fame and pressure of being in the NFL(58:10) - Surrounding yourself with positive people(1:05:36) - Future plans for Evergreen Golf Club(1:07:00) - Where you can find Jermaine and all of their content—-Social Links:Blog – http://www.tailoredcoachingmethod.com/blogFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/tailoredcoachingmethodInstagram -https://www.instagram.com/codymcbroomYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/codymcbroom1Email – info@tailoredcoachingmethod.comCody McBroom Has Also Been Featured On: Huffington Post, Bodybuilding.com, The PTDC,Dr. John Rusin, Muscle For Life, Barbell Shrugged, Strong By Design, OPEX Fitness andMore…

I can belt squat, almost 400lb, leg press I did 900lb for 8 reps the other day and my deadlift max is 315lb But barbell squat I can’t do more than 175. As soon as I get under the bar I just imagine squatting down and snapping in half and hurting up my back. How do I improve my squat and increase the weight?(12:00) - My question is how would you recommend transitioning back to maintenance and further down the road doing a cut? Should I maintain my protein intake and just cut back on carbs?(17:00) - I do about 1 hr per day of circuit style resistance training with 15 lb dumbbells/kettlebells. I am looking to start resistance training with heavier loads for body recomposition (increase muscle mass and decrease fat mass, I think I am "skinny fat") and am wondering if I will need to decrease my caloric intake if I start training heavier but with longer rest times between sets and lower reps.—-Social Links:Blog – http://www.tailoredcoachingmethod.com/blogFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/tailoredcoachingmethodInstagram -https://www.instagram.com/codymcbroomYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/codymcbroom1Email – info@tailoredcoachingmethod.comCody McBroom Has Also Been Featured On: Huffington Post, Bodybuilding.com, The PTDC,Dr. John Rusin, Muscle For Life, Barbell Shrugged, Strong By Design, OPEX Fitness andMore…

It’s Cody Land, the bare knuckle boxer’s wife:) I’m working on the Physique and Bodybuilding cert from NASM that you recommended and have decided to compete in my first bikini competition in Oct of 2023 at 36 years old so I can really dig in and apply what I’m learning. I’m still digging into the course material so wanted to reach out for help to get ahead. Right now I’m focused on building muscle before it’s time to start cutting. For context, here’s where I’m at currently. I’ve been on a dedicated lifting routine for a couple years (and for years before that before having a baby). My newbie gains seem to have worn off so I started putting myself through my first bulk last Oct. I weigh 140 and I’m 5’5. I’m eating around 2300 calories a day and focusing on keeping protein around 30%. My weight is up 5 lbs and I’m feeling strong and progressing in the gym each week. How would you suggest I periodize as I move from this bulking phase and eventually into my cutting phase? I planned to cut for 12-16 weeks, so I wouldn’t start until June at the earliest. Should I plan for a maintenance phase? Want to be sure I squeeze as much as I can out of this muscle building phase and don’t want to over do my time in a deficit later on. Love your show and thank you so much for all of the guidance you provide. Have grown a lot as a coach thanks to you.20:00 - Tips on helping a high school soccer player with nutrition. They want to build muscle, already pretty lean and tall. (Close to 6 ft) Would tracking calories be too much for someone younger?27:10 - Am I still growing and repairing muscle the whole time I am sore for 3-4 days? How do you know when you are truly recovered?35:05 - Should “cheat meals” or “free meals” be tracked?43:00 - What are your thoughts on metabolic damage? Is it a real thing?
