What are the staple things you suggest before starting a business in personal training by yourself? For both online and in person transition, what would you say the staples are and how to find a relatively small space to be my gym base at the moment as I start? How to build a blog website as well, do I just buy a website? How did you go about starting your own solo venture in personal training?45:00 - I have a client who has PCOS & she came to me only eating 1,200 calories (like actually) & not losing weight (she was skinny fat). I increased her calories over the past 6-9 months to a little over 2,000 calories & she gained ~ 10 lbs (from 160 to 170 lbs), quite a bit of muscle, but also some body fat. In the past couple months, I have started lowering her calories into a deficit & we’re currently at 1,500-1,600, but she is not losing any fat in her weight, pictures, or measurements. She doesn’t have time to increase her steps or movement, so I feel like the only way to go is to increase her calories again, but she is already feeling ‘heavy’. Any ideas of how to get her body to respond to fat loss?51:30 - Arnold press. Recently a lot of people are saying it’s junk… is it not worth it ? What are your staple shoulder movements? And what are your thoughts on the scrape press?—-Social Links:Blog – http://www.tailoredcoachingmethod.com/blogFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/tailoredcoachingmethodInstagram -https://www.instagram.com/codymcbroomYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/codymcbroom1Email – info@tailoredcoachingmethod.comCody McBroom Has Also Been Featured On: Huffington Post, Bodybuilding.com, The PTDC,Dr. John Rusin, Muscle For Life, Barbell Shrugged, Strong By Design, OPEX Fitness andMore…

My question is this - I am planning to start a cut next week. I have my calories and macros figured out, I think. I have many instances in my past where I stupidly learned the hard way that my body falls apart when I am too low carb. (Lose my period, hormones tank, hypothyroidism, can't gain muscle, can't sleep etc etc) For the record, I am not underweight (and never was). Currently I am at maintenance: 2,400 cals a day, 170g protein, 80g fat, and 250g carbs. I light weights 4 times a week in a hypertrophy program, and get lots of steps and NEAT naturally. When I calculated my 12 week cut (with 3 weeks of diet breaks) I tried to keep my carbs as high as possible, but they obviously have to go down. I came up with: 1,900 cals a day, 160g protein, 46g fat, 185g carbs. I'm curious to get a second opinion about these numbers. Is 185 too high for carbs during a cut, or could I bump them up even more? I know it depends of course. I'm just terrified of having really bad biofeedback right away after making such huge health progress. I have about 15 lbs to lose, and might break it up to not stress my body out too much. I also don't want to be too much of a wuss, and screw it up by not going hard enough. Thanks so much!!(18:35) - I know I have asked this in the past, but will you have any mentorship opportunities coming within the next year? If not, where do you recommend I go to continue my education & just overall be a better coach?(29:40) - Hydrostatic body fat testing… is it accurate?(39:00) - Do you call your clients out on their excuses?—-Social Links:Blog – http://www.tailoredcoachingmethod.com/blogFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/tailoredcoachingmethodInstagram -https://www.instagram.com/codymcbroomYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/codymcbroom1Email – info@tailoredcoachingmethod.comCody McBroom Has Also Been Featured On: Huffington Post, Bodybuilding.com, The PTDC,Dr. John Rusin, Muscle For Life, Barbell Shrugged, Strong By Design, OPEX Fitness andMore…

Her goal is to get more lean and lose inches, gain energy, and have a better routine. I want to start her on a reverse diet, but she is saying the calories are too high and she can’t get them all in in a day due to intermittent fasting. I would like her to eat breakfast and then eat every 3-4 hours for consistent energy balance. However she says every time she eats breaks fast, no matter what it is, eggs, Greek yogurt, she feels sluggish and her eyes get heavy. Could I please get some guidance and insight into this please?(27:00) - I was just listening to your 5 alarming issues inside coaching episode, totally agree with you on the slimy DM tactics. One company in particular that I will not name is huge on this and I’ve wasted money on their “business coaching.” How does your team of coaches go about getting clients if they are not constantly DMing clients?(38:30) - I have a bulging disc in my lower back and neck and spinal stenosis in the middle of my back along with shoulder pain. I’m a 55yr old female and feel like I can lift heavier than I am but when I do this at times I end up pissing off my back and shoulder. I do need to lose 50#s so this doesn’t help the constant stress on my back. How can I put on some muscle and work around all my issues?
